The Craft of Funny – 24 August
Where does funny come from and how do you create it?
We’ve asked three leading comedians to share their insights and experiences – the good and the bad – into how funny works, where comedy comes from and how it works in different media. Entertainment is an important part of building brands and making messages ‘stick’. We all talk about ‘using humour’ but what do we actually know about it?
Join us on 24 August to hear how the experts make comedy magic happen. Featuring leading comedians Eddie Perfect, Kate McLennan and Dan Ilic.
Date: Wednesday 24 August 2011

30 March – If you’re a Brisbane planner or agency type, we want to see you at Laruche, Ann St for a look at the secrets behind the award winning case studies – Tooheys New and Solo. Awarded for its brand strategy and insight, the Tooheys Beer Economy campaign uncovered a number of very interesting insights about the relationship between target drinkers and Tooheys, connecting these to a brilliantly simple observation that Aussies have been using beer to get things done for generations. Chairman of Judges Jon Steel described it as “..a genius insight”.
31 March – Melbourne based? You’re invited to an Ideas Exchange with Darren Woolley from Marketing Management Consultants, Trinity P3. Presenting on Entropy – the measure of randomness.
